What emerged that year was our first product, OMBEA Response. It’s an audience response system for Microsoft PowerPoint. It brings presentations to life in amazing ways, and has delighted teachers and presenters all over the world. Through a perfect balance of simplicty and depth, it continues to grow to this day.
Along the journey we discovered some of our customers using OMBEA Response for an intriguing purpose: Customer Experience. A similar number were polling their workforce for employee insights. In both groups, they got quantifiable and actionable insights which gave them an edge over the competition.
We were excited by the possibilities! We wondered what insights they could gain if they could poll for opinions 24/7/365. We wondered how it would make a difference if they could compare demographics and locations. We wondered how we could make it easy to get more feedback than traditional surveys would provide; after all, this is why they were using OMBEA Response in the first place. We set to work, building a better solution for them.
Two years (and thousands of cups of coffee) later, OMBEA Insights came to life.

With customers across the world in over 100 vertical industries, from retail to oil extraction, we’re excited by our journey so far. And as long as live feedback remains powerful, we’ll find ways to simplify it.
