Cleaning Your Hardware

Scenario

Keeping your feedback hardware clean will ensure it always looks inviting and welcomes feedback.

ExpressPod

In general, ExpressPods should be cleaned in the same way as other frequently touched areas in your public spaces, such as door handles and grab rails. You can use a dry cloth with mild detergent-based cleaner on all exterior parts of the ExpressPod.

Question Holder

You can improve the visibility of the question by using a microfibre cloth on the perspex question holder.

Smiley Panel

Consider using an antiseptic-based wipe or cleaning product for this part of the ExpressPod.

Warnings

Do not expose the internal electrical components of the ExpressPod to cleaning fluids or liquids of any kind.

ActionPad Kits

ActionPads

You can clean the button surface and back of the ActionPad with a dry cloth and mild detergent-based cleaner. Consider using an antiseptic-based wipe or cleaning product for extra peace of mind.

AirLink

You can dust the AirLink with a dry cloth.

Warnings

The AirLink is a mains-powered computing device and as such, great care should be taken not to expose it to cleaning fluids or liquids of any kind.

Make sure your cleaning teams know to include the feedback hardware in their regular cleaning schedule.
